About project

We would like to share the project with the broader community of Classic Yacht Enthusiasts. Therefore we decided to document and publish the history and current rebuilding of the yacht.

The Blue Marlin is in need of a major restoration. It will be rebuilt to the best possible standards and according to Charles E. Nicholson's original specifications and plans. The work will be carried out in Kotka, Finland by Red Sky Yachts. The timetable is 2007-2010.

We are starting the work by researching the history, meeting the people involved in 12 Metres and planning the endeavour. In the second half of 2007 the first steps of dismantling the deck and removing the interior will be taken.
